  We booked two rooms over the weekend (2 weeks ago) at the Lake Clifton Tavern, and what a Wonderful weekend it was. For starters the Rooms are well worth the Price of $80 pp per night or $100 for a 2 person Room per night. The Beers are Cold & Cheap… But The Best part is the FOOD they make. I Had Steak Chips & Salad for Main Course, It was SOOO Tasty that I ordered a Homemade Tuna Pie & Salad for Desert. The Salad was just so fresh. Dan (The Owner) is a Great person and will make sure your stay is a Pleasant Experience Thanks to Dan & his Staff From David, Geoffrey and Ron (Currant Archery State Title Holders)

  Tavern is open for business and is not closed like trip advisor says. Had lunch at the Tavern today and food was excellent. Steak sandwich with the best beer batter fries. Steak in the sandwich was tender and there were no gristle or fatty bits. Would recommend.
